    • So what is Alpha?

Alpha helps create space for honest conversation around some of life’s biggest questions through a series of interactive sessions. The sessions are designed to provide guests with an opportunity to share thoughts, ideas, and opinions in a safe and caring environment.

We invite you to experience Alpha, a journey designed for anyone curious about the Christian faith- whether you are new to faith, exploring questions about God, returning to the Church after time away, or wanting to grow in your spiritual life. Alpha is especially for people seeking meaning and purpose. Those who want to explore the basics of Christianity. Anyone curious about Jesus, prayer, faith, and the Holy Spirit. People feeling unsure, skeptical, or asking honest questions. Individuals hoping to grow in community and connect with others. You do not need to be Catholic, have any religious background, or have all the answers. The series is offered once or twice per year.

    • Our next Alpha series begins on Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm on February 25, 2026. Participants will meet weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm through Wednesday, April 29  (10 sessions). There will be an additional session on Tuesday, April 14. Click HERE for the detailed schedule!

If you have any questions about Alpha, please contact Helen Krisiewicz ([email protected])
  • And what is Small Group Alpha?

    • 1. Connection

Connecting with others is what we were made for. All sessions start with a time to connect and build friendships, eliminating awkwardness and creating space for important conversations over snacks and refreshments.

    • Fall 2022 Alpha @ Home at one of our homes
    • Fall 2022 Alpha @ Home at one of our homes
    • 2. Content

Alpha’s beautifully produced 25-minute videos explore the big questions we all ask, and guests from any background can unpack the basics of Christian faith. Bring your questions, you’ll find you’re not alone.

    • 3. Conversation

Those who attend Alpha share that their small group discussions are the best part of the experience. No questions are off-limits, and there's nothing you can't say (really). This is your chance to share your thoughts with 5-6 other participants and 3-4 team members and to hear from them in an honest, friendly, and safe environment.

You will meet with the same group for the series in either a cozy space in our church facility or i
      n Alpha team member's home.

  • "A Perfect Storm Transformed My Heart"

    • "While I was born and raised a Catholic, nearly all of my earliest experiences with church made me abhor it. I stopped attending Mass when I got a job at Bell Laboratories, the cathedral to science and reason. Finding myself surrounded by devout, evangelical atheists, I put my life on atheistic autopilot and started having fun. Or so I thought..."
