The Family Faith Formation Program assists families in growing together in faith, fully participating in worship, and preparing for the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation).
Our Family Faith Formation program is a Family-Centered model for Pre-K through Grade 6. Both parents and children are formed through regular Mass participation - especially Sunday's 9:30 AM Family Mass, in-church sessions, and guided family meetings and activities at home. Preparation for the reception of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion is also part of this program.
A separate Family Faith Program is offered for youths grade 7-8, centered on preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. It also includes parent sessions that encourages parents to continue their journey as the primary teachers of faith.
The 9:30 AM Family Mass focuses on engaging young families. Children are encouraged to participate in the Mass celebration as lectors and to read the prayers of the faithful. The 6:00 PM Sunday Mass with Contemporary Worship engages youth and families with older children in our Faith Formation Program.
