I have many years of experience in a wide range of ministries at Notre Dame as well as other parishes. During my engineering career at Exxon and later at IT corporation I learned a great deal about participating in and leading groups to accomplish complex tasks, often requiring interdisciplinary cooperation. Most importantly, through the various spiritual activities I have been privileged to attend over the years, I have deepened my faith and become more prayerful in surrendering my life to God’s will. Here, by the grace of God, go I.
I’ll be 80 later this month and I don’t know how much time I have left. I still have some energy to give to the good causes this parish is involved in. I can represent the older community who remember the pre-Vatican II church and the hopeful vision it presented sixty (60!) years ago. Maybe I can be one of those old men dreaming dreams.
